Much of my work begins with curiosity, questions, and a recognition that institutions are living ecosystems.

I serve as the Executive Director of University Analytics & Institutional Research (UAIR) at the University of Arizona, where I lead campus-wide analytics, data strategy, institutional research, and decision-support efforts in partnership with academic and administrative leaders. My work centers on building the infrastructure, culture, and strategic insights that help the university learn, plan, and innovate with clarity and purpose.

Previously, I was Director of Data Science and Analytics at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where I collaborated with and led cross-functional teams and architected enterprise data strategies that informed planning, evaluation, and policy. My journey also includes leadership roles at Duke University, where I taught and pioneered data and evaluation systems, led university-wide assessment initiatives, and co-developed groundbreaking programs that enhanced both academic and operational outcomes.

Before my time at Duke University, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Provost's Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. I earned my PhD from Indiana University and BA (Honors Program) from the University of Michigan.

As a social scientist, I am drawn to the deeper patterns: the structures behind outcomes, the stories inside data, and the culture embedded in how we measure, govern, and grow. I call this the architecture for change. Ultimately, it’s about what we build, how it shapes our decisions, and the futures we make possible.
